My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My partner and I got max at 7 months old from a very nice family with 3 kids.
He is 2 years old now and my living space is a bit too small for him.
I take him out into the woods everyday for at least 45 mins but usually longer. He is off leash trained but
I have him wear an e-collar when he is off leash because he can get carried away chasing deer or other game in the woods. He is a runner and has a lot of energy.
I have put quite a lot of effort into training him inside the home, on leash and off leash.
He can be a bit headstrong and needs a firm owner. He knows all of the basic commands. I often give his bones and antlers to chew.
He is not fixed and needs work on being around other male dogs right now. I am working on that with him but it will take some training.
I take a few minutes everyday after our walks to brush him. He does shed.
He is very smart and all around a very good dog.
Best suited for someone who spends a lot of time outside and/or has a yard or a lot of land.
