My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Avanti, a kitten with a heart as tender as her demeanor. This sweet little feline is gentle, mellow, and a bit shy, preferring quiet corners to the bustling center stage. Her serene nature makes her the perfect companion for those seeking a calm presence in their lives. Avanti's gentleness is not a sign of weakness, but rather a testament to her resilience. Her mellow nature is an invitation to slow down, to appreciate the simpler moments. While she may be shy, Avanti is brimming with untapped affection, waiting for the right person to share it with. Adopting Avanti means welcoming a peaceful, loving companion into your life. Her gentle purr is a promise of the quiet comfort and companionship she will bring to her forever home.

More about this rescue

We are dog and cat lovers who want to help decrease the number of healthy pets being euthanized. We do this through adopting pets to caring homes and by spaying and neutering every pet before it is adopted out. We operate a Thrift store named Critters, which is volunteer run with all money brought goes to support our "No Kill" rescue. Critters is located on the same property as our shelter. We take in homeless animals because they are in need and are unable to help themselves.
