Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Located in Decatur, IL
Meet the sweetest lab! He is a big guy weighing over 90 lbs but he is full of love and devotion!
Ray is past all the crazy lab things and just enjoys taking it easy. He likes to go for walks or just hang out in the yard. Being a lab, his favorite toys are balls but don't count on him to chase one for a lengthy amount of time. His main goal is getting all the pets and love he can and he isn't particular on who gives them to him!
He is also a gentleman when taking treats and is food motivated.
Ray is a little stiff in his back legs and we have started him on joint supplements. He should remain on these for the remainder of his life and may need pain meds as he ages.
Anyone with lab experience knows that labs just get better with age!
Ray Ban's adoption is $315. He is neutered, current on vaccines, recently received a dental, microchipped and on monthly flea and heartworm prevention. Visit leiashpe.org for an application!
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
