My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ninja, the Ultimate Fetch Champion!

Hey there, future playmate! My name is Ninja, and I'm here to steal your heart with my irresistible charm and boundless energy.

At 1 ½ years old and 59 lbs, I'm a handsome brown doggo ready to join your adventure squad. Outgoing, friendly, and oh-so-active, I thrive on playtime and outdoor fun. Whether it's chasing tennis balls or exploring the great outdoors, count me in!

Now, let's talk about my skills. Retrieving tennis balls? Oh, I'm a pro at that! Just toss one my way and watch me go! But don't worry, I'm not all about the games. I also enjoy a good scratch behind the ears and some affection, although I'm not overly needy.

When it comes to training, I'm all ears (especially if treats are involved!). I know sit like a champ, and my housebreaking skills are top-notch. With my love for treats, I'm eager to learn even more tricks and commands. But here's the thing: I can get a tad too excited sometimes, and I may jump for joy when I'm over the moon. That's why I need a patient family who'll continue to guide me with gentle training and lots of love.

As for my past, I'm a mystery man. I arrived as a stray way back on April 8th, so my history is still unfolding. But hey, what matters most is finding a loving home where I can be my goofy, lovable self. Now, about living arrangements—I'd do best in a home with no children under 12 years old, just because of my jumpiness. And if you've got resident dogs, let's set up a meet and greet to ensure we're a paw-fect match!

So, are you ready to add a dash of excitement to your life? Come meet me, Ninja, and let's embark on the greatest adventure together. I promise to fill your days with love, laughter, and plenty of tennis ball fetch!

More about this rescue

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
•We assume stewardship over their well-being and strive to make this world a better place for them.
•We serve as a resource and/or liaison for shelters, individuals, and the community at large, advocating for any animal in harm's way.
•We also function in an advisory role for private citizens who seek assistance and guidance in better caring for their pets.

We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Please help us help the animals!
