My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jazz is a 3 1/2 year old Pittie who weighs about 55lbs. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines as of 10/2023. He is very energetic and loves to cuddle. He plays well with other dogs at the dog park and during his stays at the dog hotel once he is comfortable. He has never interacted with cats before.

Jazz is crate trained and leash trained. He can be very anxious in new environments and takes time to warm up to others. He loves attention from anyone.  He is a bit too energetic for young kids and the elderly. We typically keep him away from that population because he does jump.

Jazz is NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping his family to network him for a new home. If you are interested in meeting Jazz, please contact his owner directly at tlnewman15@gmail.com - Jazz currently lives in Bloomfield, NJ (Essex County).

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
