Thor is a cutie, and super sweet and playful. He arrived at the shelter as a hungry lost boy with ID on July 28. His family decided not to come for him. We don't know how long Thor had been on his own, but he has missed more than a few meals and at just 36 pounds, needs to put on a little weight. He's happy to oblige and is treat motivated, but even in his deprived state, he'll sit and take the treat gently. Thor is about 3 years old. He is current on vaccines and neutered and will be heartworm tested upon adoption. Come meet this boy and fall in love. He's waiting in Run 411; use ID#660666.

Cobb County Animal Services was established in 1971. As part of Cobb's Department of Public Safety, we serve the entire county, protecting the residents and animals of Cobb.
The mission of the Cobb County Animal Services Unit is to enforce state laws and county ordinances pertaining to animal control and management; educate the community on responsible pet ownership and wildlife care and provide housing and care for homeless animals, while coordinating their adoptions when possible and humane euthanization when adoptions are not possible.
