Meet Chewy the Puggle!

Chewy's a 1-1/2-year-old Pug/Beagle mix. His family says he’s Pug in the house, Beagle outside…inside, he’s the perfect snuggler and a solid work-from-home office assistant. Outside, his nose knows no limits and his Beagle half takes over.

Chewy is sweet as can be with the adults in his home, but would like to find a new home with no kids that is quiet, without a lot of activity or visitors, where he can be the only dog. While he seems to have learned some basic stuff and is treat motivated, Chewy is currently leash reactive toward other dogs. He has strong prey drive, so a fenced yard would be ideal, and his current skill set requires walks on-leash only. Chewy will also need help with his door manners as he is a skilled door darter.

Chewy would do well with someone patient and willing to help him learn how to be a canine good citizen. He has abundant love to share in return.

Chewy has been neutered, microchipped and is up to date on his doggie shots and veterinary care.
