My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ty has lots of love to give!

Ty was surrendered by his loving owner when she moved to a long-term care facility. She has entrusted EHS with her beloved Ty, and we are hoping to make both their transitions easier by finding Ty a new home where he can be a cherished pet once again.

ABOUT TY:
-In foster
-Senior, domestic shorthair, male
-Ty is confident and independent.
-He is food-motivated and will even sit nicely before his meal is served. The way to this big fellow’s heart is through his tummy!
-Ty is a low to medium energy cat, occasionally still getting the zoomies in the morning, but is mostly happy to lounge around. He’s not a lap cat though.
-Ty likes to be pet on the top of his head and his cheeks. He will give a nip or scratch when he’s had enough. No harm is intended, he’s just letting his boundaries be known.
-Ty is neutered, house-trained, not declawed, microchipped, and has received core vaccinations.

TY’S IDEAL HOME:
-Ty is used to being a solo cat, enjoying all the love (and treats) available. A home where he can be the only feline companion is ideal.
-Ty has not been exposed to dogs or small children. Given his sometimes-reactive nature, a home without either would be best.

Will you be the one to give big Ty his forever home? We guarantee you’ll never “Ty”-re of this sweetie!
