BJ came from a colony in the Lewistown area. She was found with her who we think is her kitten, Bear. When she was found she was missing part of her right rear leg most likely from having the umbilical cord wrapped around it. She gets around just fine and it is completely healed and requires no special care. She jumps up on things just fine and goes in and out of the litter box just fine as well.
BJ is thought to have been born May 2022, she came into care in May 2024. She is adjusting to being an inside kitty just fine. She is a bit cautious, but enjoys all the attention she gets and having lots of food, warm beds, and is learning to play with toys.
BJ currently lives in a foster home in Palmyra. She lives with her kitten and other foster kitties who she enjoys and likes to be with. She also lives with 3 dogs, who are a bit scary to her right now, but isn't mean or aggressive, just cautious and curious. With time, I think she will be OK with them. Her kitten and her are not bonded, however, she would probably do best with another kitty in the home with her as that is how she has lived her entire life with others kitties.
BJs adoption donation is 115.00 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter/spay
If you would like more information on her, please contact Pam at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
If you would like to fill out an online application, please visit https://lovingcarecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/
Please note: LCCR does not allow our adopted cats and kittens to be declawed. All adopted kitties are to be kept as indoor-only pets.
