My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

wagoninn.rescuegroups.org

Mae Mae is a sweet as sugar brindle pit mix, who needs a new family. Mae Mae is around 2 years old and 60ish lbs. She loves people and is great with children- she seems to even like cats, though she will chase playfully. Mae Mae barks when strangers come into her house but quickly becomes friendly. She is a bit slower to warm up to men she doesn't know. She seems to love her doggy sister too but has started to guard her food and toys from her sister canine which has led to fighting between them. Because of this, Mae Mae would do best as an only dog. She is good on leash and a huge cuddle bug who always wants to be near you. She is very nervous on car rides. Mae Mae is an overall lovable sweetheart and to meet her is to love her!

Mae Mae is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.

More about this rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue, A NJ recognized 501(C)3 organization, located in Freehold, NJ, is a small group of dedicated volunteers, trying to rehome dogs and cats. We have a variety of animals looking for their forever home. The animals are worked with individually to be socialized with other animals and with people. Some of the dogs are obedience trained and housebroken. Special care is also taken in working with animals on basic house manners. We have two types of ways we help the animals. One is our rescue program, where we pull animals from shelters and they stay with us until adopted, we also have a "referal program" where we help owners of pets try to find them new homes. with this program, the pets stay with their owners until a new home is found, and adopted from the owner.
