Penny is a purebred English Bulldog puppy born with spina bifida. After seeing specialists, it was determined that there is nothing that can be done for her condition aside from keeping her comfortable for the duration of her life. Penny is completely incontinent, meaning she cannot control her urine or stools, and she needs around-the-clock care, including diapers and frequent cleaning. She has full function of her back legs as of now, and runs and plays without issue.

Despite her condition, Penny has no idea she’s any different. She loves everyone she meets and her personality is full of sass! Penny will need a special, very experienced and patient family willing to continue her extensive care and understand that her condition could progress, potentially requiring additional treatments and management.

She will remain in foster care until we find that special person willing to give her a loving and understanding forever home.
