Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Grant is an affectionate and sweet 2.5 year old pitbull mix. I got him from a shelter a couple of months ago where he was on the kill list. I have to let him go because my lease recently ended. I'm looking for a job and am finding it difficult to find a lease in my budget that allows dogs. He needs a family that can provide him with regular exercise and training.
He is generally not dog aggressive but can get rough/dominant while playing so needs to be watched and trained to play more gently. He has not shown signs of aggression towards people but will jump on you thinking he is still a puppy. He does nibble but it has reduced significantly. He needs to be trained to be home alone by himself.
He is potty trained and also knows basic commands. He is fairly leash trained too. He is eager to learn commands and loves belly rubs!
The adoption fee is mostly to make sure he goes to a family serious about taking care of him. I'll also be giving his crate, toys and bed.
