Jespe is a charming doxie/terrier mix with a gorgeous brindle coat and an irresistible personality. This short-stacked sweetheart is eager for attention and affection, and she's especially fond of snuggling and sleeping under the covers, a skill she's perfected thanks to her foster's Brittney.
Though Jespe is a bit shy at first, she's incredibly loving once she feels safe and secure. She's fully potty trained and has a lot of potential, though she does need a bit of help learning basic manners. As a puppy, she has a very playful side and occasionally chews on things she shouldn't, but it's not a frequent issue. With positive correction she stops when she is told.
Jespe is not a fan of being kenneled and would prefer a cozy spot in your home where she can relax and feel at ease. She would thrive best in a home without cats, as she tends to chase them, and she's also not comfortable around children. Jespe is looking for a loving, adult-only home where she can continue to grow and flourish in a nurturing environment. If you're ready to provide a cat-free, kid-free space and have the patience to help her with her manners, Jespe will reward you with boundless love and loyalty.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.
Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
