My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kane is a 13 month stunningly gorgeous male staffie-shar pei mix cutie pie that is a grey-brindle and is such a loving and well behaved sweetheart. Kane weighs 59 pounds of love & sweetness and he’s super affectionate and loves everyone he meets. He loves belly rubs and wants nothing more than to be with his loved ones.  He’s well behaved in the home and does great sleeping the whole night through on his dog bed.  Kane just had entropian surgery on both eyelids of both eyes, and he’s healing beautifully and is already so much happier and feels better. He was also neutered, microchipped, is current on all of his boosters and vaccines, received a comprehensive fecal test and is packed and ready for his playful, loving and committed family.  Kane is dog friendly, and was a staff favorite at San Pedro shelter, where we rescued this hunk of love.  We encourage our adopters to provide them with stability, structure, consistency, love and training to set them up for success!  Kane is incredibly smart and loves having a routine, wants to please and will be an amazing addition to any loving family wanting to add a young adult dog to their family.

If you're interested in adopting Kane, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Kane's cuteness. Our adoption fee for dogs, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500.

If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.

More about this rescue

Our name is Doggie Bonez Rescue. We love animals, and our goal is to save as many lives as we can. We are primarily a bully breed rescue, but we welcome all furry babies alike. We rescue our dogs from all sorts of situations, get them cleaned up, seen and evaluated by our Veterinary team, fed, bathed, housed, walked and most of all loved.
We try and find the right fit for both the adopter and the dog so that it is a win win for everyone. Please contact us to learn more about our rescue. Thank you, Doggie Bonez Rescue
