Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Trailmix, a male, 1-year-old Mixed Breed dog. He weighs 54 pounds.
Trailmix arrived at the shelter as a stray. He is a friendly and happy pup who is excited to meet his new family! He enjoys playing and hanging out with his favorite people.
Here are some notes from a volunteer: Leashing: Easy to Leash; Easy to walk, no pulling Interested in Treats?: Always! Loves Treats Behaviors I know: Sit; Lay Down General Personality Type: Calm, Sweet, Gentle, Can't get enough Love; Energetic, Playful, Active Things I Love: -Food! -People are my absolute favorite -Tennis balls are the greatest thing on earth -Squeaky toys make me super happy -Stuffed toys are the best thing ever -Rope toys are amazing Games and Activities I enjoy most: - Enrichment activities like forage feeding or Kongs - Fetch is my Game! - Running and playing with toys on my own - Sniffing EVERYTHING - Tug Game Additional Notes: "Trail mix is hands down my favorite dog to take out in the yard! He loves belly rubs, people, any and all toys and will do anything for a treat! He's a very good boy and I love him to pieces!"
Trailmix would do best in a home with older children due to not knowing how big he is, and potentially knocking over small children.
Trailmix will need an indoor home and a secure containment area to stay safe from wandering and escaping. Positive reinforcement, fear-free training will be needed. Daily exercise and mental enrichment will be very important. Trailmix will need to be the only pet in the home.
Trailmix is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered, and ready to go home today.
