My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jane, a vibrant 14-month-old female Labrador Mix weighing 64 pounds. While we don't know Jane's backstory, her happy and energetic spirit shines brightly. This playful girl is highly food-motivated and loves her treats! Jane would be thrilled to have a family to call her own, where she can share her boundless joy and enthusiasm. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Jane is ready to bring endless love and fun to her new home today. Could she be the perfect addition to your family? Adopt Jane and let her fill your life with happiness and laughter.

If you have other dogs in your home, we would be happy to arrange a meet and greet with your dog(s) to make sure everyone gets along!

More about this shelter

West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.

We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
