My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alaska is a wonderful dog who is looking for her forever family. She's active and loving, but has the wisdom and temperment of a dog that is 4 years old.

She loves playing with other medium/large size dogs, but does not like cats.

More about this rescue

We can proudly say that we are the first Antelope Valley Lost & Found Social Media platform for pets. We help reunite hundreds of pets every year skipping the overcrowded shelter. Our mission was and still is to assist with the large number of shelter intakes in turn minimizing the euthanasia rate. Through our community cross information process, we find support, hope, and relief that we are all working together. As part of our mission this network was also formed in order to share stories, and to educate the community about proper animal care, also the legalities of re-homing a found pet.

Since we launched our social media group, the mission became much deeper. Through out the journey ,we discovered a problem most people where not aware of.
Because of the high demand of homeless pets, we opened our facility - rescue in 2014. We are proud adoption partners with Petsmart Charities holding adoptions every weekend in Simi Valley,Santa Clarita and Westlake.
Where do they come from is a frequent asked question -
We rescue animals in remote areas, pull from shelters, owner surrenders etc.
