My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Wednesday!

This petite kitty recently joined AFRP rom Hitchcock Road Animal Service and she is now ready to find her purrfect match!

Wednesday absolutely loves being the center of attention, showing her enjoyment with loud purrs and engaging in as much play as possible! She is an outgoing and friendly girl, who seems to adjust quickly to new environments and is quick to greet new people. Wednesday is easy to handle, she allows brushing and nail clipping without any issue.

Wednesday could live as the only pet or she may get along with another outgoing, playful and confident cat after slow introductions. She is not a good match with gentle, quiet or shy cats due to her intensity when she interacts with other cats. She is unknown with dogs at this time, but may do well with a cat-savvy dog after slow introductions. Wednesday can become very slightly overstimulated and nip gently if she gets very excited, so she'd do best in a home with cat-savvy children over the age of 8.

Wednesday's adoption fee has been waived!

Wednesday is currently at our main office, located in Pacific Grove, CA. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
