My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

`I like big labs and I cannot lie
you other folks can`t deny
When a lab walks up with a big ol` waist
and a nose up in your face
you fall in love!`

Okay, so maybe that`s not quite how the song goes, but we sure think you will fall in love with this big ol` guy! In his former home Oakley was reported to be good with small dogs, house trained and affectionate. He absolutely loves toys, knows tricks, and is a velcro dog who also enjoys swimming.

Oakley has endeared himself to volunteers, with one sharing, `I had Oakley and his kennelmate in a play yard this morning. Oakley was a calm and contented guy, happy to explore the yard, splash in the pool and check in with me for pets and cuddles. This was my first time meeting him and he was very friendly and immediately affectionate! He`s the perfect big ol` lab!`

Oakley is a 100 pounds of loveable lab energy! He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit and may prefer a home without young kiddos who don’t yet know how to respectfully interact with a pet.

`Got a lab to get right with ya
he wants to snuggle and kiss ya...`

Okay, okay, you get the picture; Oakley`s got your back and is ready to go home today!
