My name is Ernie!

In 2023 I was working at my local shelter when this crazy, lovebug came in as a stray. Here, he earned the name Ernie as his bark sounds like an old man :) Ernie stayed at the shelter for several months before I finally caved and adopted him! While I've truly had the best time with this sweet boy, he unfortunately has a fairly high prey drive for cats, and seeing as I own one, I'm making the tough decision to rehome him. During his time at the shelter he got along well with dogs his size or bigger, but when I brought him home with me he became very reactive around other animals, but he is very smart and I believe that with enough training and supervision, he would love a companion to play with! I'm looking for an experienced dog owner (preferably with herding breeds) and with plenty of living space to adopt this loving boy!
