This sweet and gentle boy is Lorado, a furry companion who’s ready to find his forever home. While he might be a bit shy at first, give him a little time and you’ll discover his heart of gold. Lorado is fantastic with other dogs and once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal shadow, always sticking by your side.

His favorite pastimes include receiving gentle pets and embarking on scenic walks where he can soak in the sights and sounds of nature. Lorado’s ideal day would be a serene stroll through the park, followed by a cozy cuddle session on the couch.

Looking for a friend who’s as faithful as they come? Lorado’s your guy. He may be a little reserved initially, but the love and companionship he has to offer are boundless. Are you ready to open your heart and home to this shy yet loving boy?

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
