My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Topsy and Turvy! Four month old brothers. Great if they can be adopted together but not required as long as they have a friend cat in their new homes.

Topsy is full bore crazy kitten who plays like mad! He will need a buddy cat to match his energy and silliness, or someone who is okay with that.

Turvy has learned to deal with Topsy and be a good playmate for him but he is more quiet and shy. He does love to play too but not quite as crazy as Topsy, the wild child.

They are used to other cats and gentle dogs and nice older kids. They will need a place where they can go outside with their family and play in the yard. Topsy may need a racetrack kind of space considering his love of zooming around. They are both sweethearts and will be great family kitties.

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
