Charlie would be proud to know that his foster mom says “he is a jewel who is happy, playful, and loves to eat”! He is good with other cats and a well-behaved senior dog, but he does wisely assess new friends and situations with a little extra time. His bunny-soft, fuzzy wuzzy light orange coat is the perfect gym suit for this energetic guy who zips up and down the cat tree and also uses it at a favorite place for a cozy snooze. Older children might be the best match for this bouncy boy’s boisterous sense of fun. His bouyant nature and sweet and easy affection make him a welcome, upbeat companion, who’s been a great joy in his foster family, and is sure to be the furry resident smile-maker in a great forever family. Could darling Charlie bring his lovable vibe to your welcoming home?

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

Our Petco adoption center is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
