My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Anastasia Beaverhausen is not a diva despite her name. She is very sweet and loving and has a literal heart on her forehead. She is a dilute tortie which is a very rare coloring. She was a stray found in Oklahoma but is now in Renton, WA looking for her forever home. She is great with cats and doesn't mind dogs.

Vetting: spayed, microchipped, FeLV tested, two combo vaccines (FeLV/FRVCP), rabies vaccine, on monthly flea/tick/heartworm/worm prevention.

Adoption fee: $350
We had to pay $200 for her transport from Oklahoma to Washington state and the adoption fee will help another kitty get out of here. Oklahoma is hell for animals. Also, a lot of shelters and rescues do not test for FeLV/FIV. The test alone is $50. Plus all the other vetting, $350 still doesn't even cover the total cost for rescuing her.

More about this rescue

Oklahoma Licensed Rescue Number 95

Oklahoma is a bad place for animals. It's the only state that saw an increase in shelter euthanasia rates in 2019. 2020 probably didn't look any different. Strays everywhere, people dumping dogs in the country to fend for themselves, litters of puppies and kittens because people are too cheap or too lazy to fix their pets.

We help these poor souls and find them loving homes in northern states.
