Meet Dexter!

If you don't remember Dexter he was the dog found as a stray that had the one-pound tumor on his leg!

He has had his surgery to get the tumor removed and he is all healed up and is looking for his furever home. He is estimated to be around 1-2 years old. He has done well with dogs he has met at the shelter but meet and greets are required if there will be other dogs in the home. He loves his people but does need training with jumping and being mouthy. He is a very silly boy that just needs structure. If you are interested in meeting Dexter the shelter is open Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm or you can call the shelter to schedule an appointment at 804-520-9397 ext.5
