Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I have just met you and I LOVE you!
My name is Dug, and I am a 4-month-old Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix. I am full of energy and love, but most of all I’m ready to be your best friend. I love to go on adventures, play with balls (specifically tennis), and help you get all your wilderness explorer badges.
One of my favorite things to do is play with dogs, especially dogs my own age/size. I’m still a puppy and definitely chew on things that I’m not supposed to but a good ice cube or Nylabone helps distract me and soothe my aching gums. After a long day of playing hard, I just love to snuggle next to my foster mom or lay in the sunshine. Because my history isn't known, but the humans in my life now suspect I didn't have the best upbringing, I can be protective over my toys and food. They are working on teaching me how to share, but for this reason it might be best that I not live with small children who don't have great dog manners. My foster family will update my bio as this changes, and they say I do take correction to bad behaviors very well, so hopefully I will soon learn that there are plenty of toys and treats to go around for everyone. I'm also working on learning that kitties aren't here to chase, but I don't think I would hurt one if I caught it...I just like the game of chase!
All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
