Meet the Pet
This helps Piedmont Animal Rescue with pet care costs.
Ulysses and his three siblings were just tiny pups, about five weeks old, when they were left all alone in a rubbermaid tote on the side of the road. Can you believe it? But luckily, they were found and brought to safety.
Today, Ulysses is 4.5 months old and is the most cheerful, friendly dog you'll ever meet. He's like a walking sunshine! He loves everyone, from other dogs to humans, big and small. You'll often find him playing in the yard, running around with his doggie friends, chasing sticks, leaves, and squirrels – a typical Labrador Retriever thing to do.
Walks around the neighborhood are his favorite. He greets everyone with a big, happy smile and a hug. Yep, Ulysses loves to hug! It's like he's saying, "Hey there, friend!"
One thing about Ulysses: he's got a thing for putting stuff in his mouth! It's like a never-ending game of "What's in your mouth?" We're always chasing him around, trying to figure out what he's got. Typical lab, right?
He's great with other dogs, big or small, and he's even friends with a dog in a wheelchair. How awesome is that?
Ulysses is looking for a forever home filled with love and adventure. He's a bundle of joy waiting to fill your life with laughter and love. So if you're ready to welcome a happy-go-lucky Labrador into your family, Ulysses is your guy!
