Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please visit leiashope.org for our adoption process.
Located in Troy, MO
Scrunchie is a clownish girl with lots of energy! This girl loves life and never is still long unless she is sleeping!
Some day she will maybe grow into the low energy pug that the breed is known for, but for now she is a busy busy girl! She loves to play and her teeth are sharp. She hasn't learned bite restraint so her new home will need to redirect her to something appropriate to chew on and not fingers and toes!
She is a fun gal that is for sure. She has been checked by our vet and notes that her snares are narrow and extra care should be taken when being sedated.
Scrunchie's adoption is $500. She is current on age appropriate vaccines, subsequent vaccines are the responsibility of her new family. She has not been spayed due to her age (we spay/neuter at 6 months) and a spay contract is required. Scrunchie is microchipped. Visit leiashope.org for next steps.
PLEASE NOTE: We are a volunteer ran rescue with full time jobs. Please allow 7-10 days for application processing.
All of our dogs are in foster homes and a meet and greet is done ONLY after an approved application.
We do adopt out of the area. However, we do not ship or provide transportation. You must come to the location of the dog to meet and adopt. NO EXCEPTION. All family members and dogs must be present at the meet.
Dogs are a commitment for THEIR lifetime. For puppies this could be 15 years. If YOU cannot commit to the lifetime of the DOG, please do not apply. Puppies under 9 months must go to a home where there is someone home frequently (works from home or a partner is home), can adequately socialize and train the puppy, and can keep up with puppy energy!
