Hi! My name is Wilder! I am a handsome 5-6 year old flashy brindle boy that has an unknown history prior to coming to the rescue but I'm now on the hunt for my forever family! I am not 'Wild' at all like my name suggests! I do have steady energy throughout the day that allows me to follow the humans from room to room or patrol the yard, but I take joy in naps during the day as well! I am house trained, crate trained, doggy door trained, know basic commands, and I sleep through the night on a dog bed in the human's room! I have began to play with toys but would much rather be in the humans lap or being pet by them. I am sweet and gentle with kids and enjoy running and playing tug with the human kids in my foster home. I couldn't wait to meet the resident dogs so the first night in my foster home I let myself out and met them with no issue! We do great and I am calm and non reactive to them. I can play rough at times if I get 'wound up', but for the most part I am gentle and want to please. My foster mom says I love people and would do best in a home where I am not left alone for long stretches often. I am sweet, loving, quick learner, and a goofy boy that keeps my foster home laughing! If you think I would make a great addition to your home, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
