My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Henny! This loving, playful 4-year-old mini Jindo mix is bursting with personality. At just 20lbs, she's incredibly smart and goofy, walking well on a leash and fully crate trained. Henny loves her food and is very food-motivated. While she's great with other pets, she would prefer being the only pet in an adult-only home. Henny has some stranger danger she's working on with her trainers and needs a patient adopter willing to guide her and help her succeed around new people. Henny is being fostered by dog trainers @rescuetrainrepeat and is thriving! Henny's adoption fee is $300, and she's available for private meetings in Bushwick. Apply to meet her today at koreank9rescue.org/adopt

More about this rescue

Korean K9 Rescue is a volunteer-driven No-Kill dog rescue organization based in Queens, New York and Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, South Korea As a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we transport homeless and mistreated dogs from South Korea and place them with loving forever families, primarily in New York City, Boston, and Los Angeles. Because of an unfortunate stigma surrounding mixed-breed dogs–and the dog meat trade that persists within the country–many dogs in South Korea are unlikely to be adopted at home and are in grave danger of being euthanized.

We believe that all dogs should be happy and free. With our partners in Korea, we are stepping in to help at-risk dogs live healthy, happy, long lives. Please join us in our mission!
