Meet Cosmo!!!!

Cosmo came to us when he was found abandoned in Detroit with his 7 siblings. Found malnourished and in horrible living conditions, we swooped them up to safety and the rest is history. Unfortunately, they were diagnosed with demodex, but don’t worry, he has been treated and now we just wait for his hair to grow back. (Demodex is not contagious to other pets or humans)

Cosmo is the lazy daisy of the group. He loves to relax in the sun when he isn't playing with his brothers and sisters. He is a very calm and gentle puppy when play time is over and loves to cuddle. Potty training is going well and he will do anything for treats and scratches. Cosmo is truly a great puppy that would make a great addition to any family!

Peace Love and Paws Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit, animal welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of stray, neglected and abused animals. Peace Love and Paws Rescue is completely funded through fundraising efforts and public donations. All of our pets are cared for by foster homes and receive complete medical care, which includes worming, vaccinations, spaying/neutering and microchipping prior to their adoption.

This questionnaire is designed to help Peace Love and Paws Rescue determine if a specific dog is the right match for you and your household. All adopting and fostering parties are required to complete this form prior to adoption. Peace Love and Paws Rescue reserves the right to deny any adoption or fostering based on answers to this questionnaire and/or interviews prior to adoptions and placing foster homes!

More about this rescue

We are three passionate, animal loving dog moms who met through various volunteer efforts at local rescues in the Detroit area. We continued talking outside of volunteering and quickly came to realize that we all had similar goals, to help as many animals in need that we possibly could. In the Detroit area, there are so many animals who need homes, medical attention, and love.

We decided that we wanted to be able to do more to help these animals. We are raising funds through selling merchandise, fundraising, donations, and supporting local community events. All funds raised will be used to establish a nonprofit status, fund the medical needs of local dogs, and find shelter animals their furever home.
