My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Caleb is a black and white domestic short hair cat approximately 4 years old. He showed up one day to our colony and never left. He was a little skittish, but friendly, so we continued to feed him and welcomed him into the group. We got him neutered, a rabies vaccine and put on a collar with our phone number. Things were ok until he started lying in the middle of the road as well as disappearing for several days at a time. One time we saw a Ring Alert about him and were able to find him. Another time we got a call from someone walking their dog. We were worried for his safety and well-being so we brought him into our home even though we don't have room. We took him to the vet and did comprehensive blood work and a physical exam. He is extremely healthy, but FIV positive. We keep in a crate part of the time in the garage (it has a/c) because having him in our home stresses out our cats. Whenever, we open the crate to let him out he puts his front paws around our neck and jumps into our arms. It’s the cutest thing ever! We are looking for a forever home for Caleb. We already have too many cats and aren’t able to keep him. We feel bad that he must spend so much time in the crate. We let him inside as much as possible so he can get some exercise but it’s not an ideal situation for him or for us. When he comes inside, he tries to play with our other cats but sadly they don’t want to play with him. He's curious, always ready to play and follows us everywhere!!! When he’s not playing with his favorite catnip mouse or trying to play with our cats he enjoys taking long cat naps on the couch in the family room. Caleb is a cat who needs a home.  Maybe your home needs a cat like Caleb.   TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CALEB, PLEASE CONTACT Jose 786-218-9080 (text).
