- Looking for a home with patient family members who will give her time to open up and let her take things at her own pace
- Is not a lap cat right now, and may never be an affectionate kitty - she's going to make a great cat for someone looking for a companion cat to to love and care for with no expectations for a super affetionate cat
- Once she gains your trust, she welcomes love and pets
- Is not a good fit for children and needs a home with adults only
- Needs to be the only pet in her new home
- Very sweet but shy; looking for calm, patient people who can help her with confidence-building
- Will be a wonderful friend for a calm, patient person who loves the quiet life just like she does
- Not comfortable with fast movements or loud noises; looking for a quiet, predictable home where all family members understand that she will need a calm environment and time to decompress
- Will be a wonderful friend for someone who wants to make a difference in the life of a fantastic cat who just needs time to trust, and know she is safe and loved
- Please plan on starting her in one room of your home and giving her quite a bit of time (possibly weeks) to become comfortable with that area and with you before allowing him access to larger areas of the home; this process will help set her up for success by not overwhelming her
- This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress in her foster home, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks or even months for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience, and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age)
