Twila is a Staffordshire Terrier mix. She's full of energy and LOVES PEOPLE. If you want a best bud, she's your girl. She would need an active family. She would be great as a hiking or running buddy. She would probably do best with older children, just because she's so strong. We are working with her with crate training, basic commands and will work with leash training as well, but she will need obedience training and a firm, kind hand when training her. She's a great dog and would love you outrageously!

We require potential adopters to fill out an application, and a home check is also part of the process. We look at each dog and each adopter on an individual basis and work to create a lasting and forever bond. All companion animals must be spayed or neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and on heartworm preventative. Our adoption fee is $250 unless otherwise noted.

Ruff Love was founded by Sue Rogers in response to the overwhelming numbers of abandoned dogs in the Randolph County/Davidson County area. Over time, we have developed a network of volunteers and foster homes. Our rescue efforts are geared toward dogs. We are a 501(c)(3)non-profit organization so all donations to us are tax deductible. Currently, we are caring for over 100 dogs in our program, and almost 70 are adoptable. Most of the dogs that are not up for adoption are either old or are suffering from chronic health conditions. They will live out their days well cared for and comfortable in with Ruff Love Rescue.
