Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Today I: met a new friend, and I was so excited that I couldn`t stop jumping up and down while she tried to put on my collar and harness. Once I was ready, I eagerly hopped into the car all by myself, and we headed to Coyote Creek Trail. There were so many amazing things to see—dogs running, people jogging, and bikes whizzing by. The passing bikes made me a bit nervous, but my friend gave me treats every time one passed, which helped me feel calmer. I got super excited when I spotted squirrels and really wanted to say hi to them! When other dogs passed by, I was curious and eager to greet them too. I made sure to sniff every patch of grass and discovering new scents all along the way. On the ride back to the shelter, I settled in for a long, peaceful nap in the car, feeling completely relaxed and content.
Three Words to Describe Me are: friendly, curious, energetic
Notes from My Walker: Beef Taco is a highly energetic dog and would thrive in a very active household. He’s still learning basic commands and gets so excited that he loves to jump on me. He eagerly hopped into my car all on his own, ready for adventure. During our walk, he pulled on the leash the entire time, and even after two hours of hiking, he still had energy to spare. He gets a little scared when bikes pass by, but a treat quickly distracts him. When other dogs pass, he’ll bark or whine because he just wants to say hi. He loves sniffing around during walks, and on the ride back, he finally settled down for a well-deserved nap.
DDO from week of October 20th.
