Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Peppa was born partially blind and deaf as the result of accidental breeding of two dogs with merle-patterned coats. This genetic condition is known as ''double merle.'' Double merles can live full, happy lives with the appropriate levels of care and support.
Blind and deaf dogs can learn easily through positive reinforcement and touch cues. At Hawaii Island Humane Society, we are dedicated to advocating for blind and deaf dogs like these puppies and are here to support their future families in helping their new dog grow and thrive.
