We adopted Hera in December from the Richmond Animal League. She was very meak and timid when we first got her, but her personality has come out over the last few months. She gets along very well with other dogs. She likes children, but it takes her a little bit of time to get used to a new person. She is caged trained and house trained, but she does still have the occassional accident. She loves to go on walks and her favorite thing is to roll around on freshly cut lawns.
We need to find her a new home for a couple of reasons, but the main reason is that we've found that my son is allergic to her. He has been breaking out in rashes on his arms and we traced the problem back to Hera.
Hera's ideal home would be one with children who like to run around and play with her in an enclosed yard. She can be very active when prompted, but also very chill and will lay with you as you watch TV. She would do just as well with older adults provided she gets frequent walks or yard time.
