My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Remy is a very sweet boy who is bonded with his foster brother, Gambit. Remy came to Liberation when a kind couple found him all alone at their campsite. They knew they couldn't leave him there so they brought him home and then he found placement with us!

Remy has eyelid agenesis, which means about 1/3 of his eyelid did not form on his right eye. This caused him to have some eyelashes that rubbed on his eye. As a result, he received cryotherapy to freeze off the problem eyelashes. Now he is much more comfortable, though he is a little squinty sometimes!

Remy is fostered in Charlotte, NC. He has been neutered and fully vaccinated. He is ready for his forever home with his brother!

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit organization that exists to save the lives of at-risk cats and kittens in the Central Florida area. This is primarily done through fostering those that are sick and/or medically needy until they are healthy and old enough to be placed in a forever home.

We believe that saving more lives can be accomplished through educating others on the importance of spaying and neutering as well as through safe and effective trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNvR) practices.

We live by the conviction that compassion for animals applies to all species, not just cats.
