At 3 years old and 79 pounds, I’m a Great Pyrenees mix with a splash of Golden Retriever or Collie, like a majestic forest queen who’s seen both her share of trials and triumphs. My story began when my former family surrendered me and my 9 little adventurers to the shelter. With overcrowding putting us on the dreaded euthanasia list, it seemed our journey might come to a tragic end. But fear not! A brave foster family swooped in like our own band of Merry Men, rescuing us and giving us a chance at a new beginning. Now, I’m ready for my own happy ending.

I’m as smooth as a perfectly aimed arrow on walks—no pulling on the leash here! My energy level is a balanced mix of relaxation and enthusiasm! I enjoy lounging around the house and soaking up some chill time, but I’ve got a playful side that comes alive when I’m outside. Whether it’s a backyard romp or a leisurely walk, I’m always ready to spring into action and enjoy some quality time. I’m definitely up for some adventures with my new family! I think I’d really enjoy going on walks or hikes—anything that gets us out and about. However, I’m not a fan of big crowds, so I might prefer quieter outings where we can explore at our own pace. On the leash, I’m a model walker—no pulling or tangles here! I’m well-mannered and respect your lead, making our walks a breeze. As for hiking, count me in! But don’t worry—I’ve got plenty of other ways to bring joy and companionship to your life! I’d do great in an apartment, as long as I get the exercise I need. With my medium energy level, I’m quite adaptable and happy to enjoy a cozy space as long as we have regular walks and outdoor time. So, if you’re in an apartment and ready to keep me active and engaged, I’ll be a perfectly content and loving companion! I’m fully potty trained, so no need to worry about any indoor mishaps—just lots of love and snuggles. I promise I won’t turn your home into a mini obstacle course of accidents. I’m all about keeping things clean and tidy, so we can focus on more fun activities, like perfecting our napping technique or plotting our next grand adventure. You can count on me to settle in nicely and treat my kennel like my personal relaxation zone. So, while I’m a fan of snuggles and chill time, you won’t find me making a fuss about my kennel. You won’t find me gnawing on your belongings. My idea of fun is more about relaxing and snuggling, rather than turning your home into a chew zone. So, you can trust that your favorite items will remain untouched while I enjoy some quality downtime with my own peaceful pursuits!
I haven’t had the chance to mingle with my foster doggie siblings yet because I’m still mastering the art of balancing mom duties with making new canine friends. Right now, if a doggie approaches, I might give a little bark to say, “Hey, I’m watching you—keep your distance!” Think of me as a mama bear on high alert, protecting my adorable cubs from any potential mischief. Once my puppies are weaned and I’ve had my “spa day” (a.k.a. getting spayed), I’m sure I’ll be more open to doggy friendships and probably enjoy their company a lot more. For now, I’m just a loving mom navigating a busy world with a lot of protectiveness and a sprinkle of curiosity. o, hang tight as I transition from the overprotective mama to the friendly, fun-loving doggy friend you’re bound to adore! I haven’t had the chance to meet any cats yet, so my feline finesse is still a mystery. However, given my gentle and loving personality, I’m pretty confident that I’d be just fine with them once we get to know each other. I’m the kind of dog who warms up to new friends with a bit of patience(partly due to being on guard with my 9 little rugrats after everything we have been through), so with the right introductions, I’m sure I’d be a great kitty companion too, especially once I can focus on just me and not have to worry about my puppies.
