For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Milo is an energetic dog who thrives on pool time, where he can splash around and enjoy the water. He loves playing with his furry friends, always ready for a game of chase. With a passion for treats, Milo eagerly looks forward to every snack break. His days are filled with running, jumping, and playing, making him the life of the party wherever he goes!
Reason for Foster: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI)
Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks
Foster Care Plan: Milo is currently undergoing treatment for an upper respiratory infection, which is like a common cold. There is a possibility that he is contagious to other animals, so we strongly recommend keeping him separated in a bedroom or bathroom away from your personal pets until he has fully recovered. He will go home with an antibiotic. He will have a recheck appointment scheduled once his medication is completed to move forward to adoption.
Foster to Adopt Program: Milo is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit https://www.operationkindness.org/foster/ or email us at foster@operationkindness.org to learn more.
