Baker is a cute 2-month old male kitten who was brought to the HSOV on July 27, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who had found him on Pike Street in Marietta Ohio three days earlier fending for himself.
This little sweetie pie has a brown tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and an adorable kitten face with hopeful innocent eyes, a brown velvet nose, a splash of white on his muzzle, and long white whiskers.
Baker has a sweet, gentle disposition and seems thankful that he is in good hands with our wonderful HSOV kennel techs. It does our hearts good to see him enjoying plenty of good food and fresh cool water .. And knowing that he will never again be hungry or unloved.
Baker has given vaccinations and Pyrantel wormer He weighed 2.6 lbs on July 27th.
If he is not reclaimed, we will have Baker neutered and find him a fabulous home either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net).
Baker was taken to a veterinarian clinic on September 17, 2024 for his neuter procedure but, unfortunately, he had a 'kitty cold' (upper respiratory infection) that day and did not undergo surgery. Baker is currently on antibiotics and will hopefully be neutered on October 22, 2024.
