My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am quite the handsome boy, with a purrsonality to match. I came to Romeoville Humane Society at death's door, and had the "Will" to live and fought my way back - I'm a healthy boy now, and there's no stopping me! I'm playful with my people, but not so much on my own, and just love to be held and cuddled (when playtime is done of course). I definitely crave interaction with other animals; social kitties and kitty-friendly dogs are fun to play with (I'm used to smaller or medium sized dogs). My current foster mom works from home and I love hanging out with her while she works. She has this really neat thing she calls a printer, and it's so nice and warm and one of my favorite napping places during the day.

More about this rescue

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
