Good with kids? Yes, June would be fine with gentle, older kids who will pet and love her.

Energy level: Low. June is a champion snoozer and is awake for about four hours a day, which she spends walking around her home, checking out the sights and sounds, and hanging out in warm, sunny patches.

Medical/Behavioral needs: June has hyperthyroidism, so she takes daily medication and eats special food, which she finds delicious! This year, sweet June lost her best friend, a gentle, male cat her own age. She is in search of forever companionship with a human, and will be sure to protect her adopter from loneliness.

Animal Characteristics: June is a small, persistently cuddly lap cat who will soak up affection from everyone willing her to shower her with pets and cuddles. She likes to be close enough to touch, lean against or drape her paw against her human’s arm, adorably pulling her human’s hand towards her when she is craving attention. She loves to snuggle up at bedtime, too!
