We have a transport trip to Norcal, and OR set to begin on 8/10/24 and we would love to add Monte to our trip for the right home ❤️
Meet Monte! He is a 7 month old purebred miniature schnauzer. He weighs 13.5 lbs and is at a healthy weight. He has a little mor growth left, but will be a smaller guy all around. Yes, his tail is docked 💙

He is neutered, microchipped, current on all vaccines, and had a dental cleaning done as he had small amounts of tarter build up due to being on canned food in his prior home. He is now on a much more healthier diet, and doing wonderful. His physical exam went great with our vet, and he has been cleared to find a home all his own.

He is crate trained, and currently sleeps in his crate at night or to nap during the day. He is great about going outside to potty, so house training has been a breeze with him ☺️ He is working on leash skills, as it's new to him and with these hotter temps he has only been introduced to the leash around our home. He is WONDERFUL with ALL dogs, and cats alike. He is the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST of boys! He is a total lover, and adores everyone he meets. He is NOT high energy, and is really easy to entertain, if he isn't entertaining himself 😂 He is very easy going, aims to please, loves playing with his toys especially if you are engaging with him.

He did great with our groomer, and was very sweet with her. He is great on road trips around town so if you are looking for a buddy to share your adventures with he would love to be right at your side. He is not a barker, but will alert you of things he wants, or needs as he is very communicative.

He is sweet, kind, loving, loves to be held!

He loves to lay his paw in the palm of your hand, especially when you are driving. He is so cute!

His prior family surrendered him to us here as they sadly had to move out of state due to work, which meant their new schedules would keep them away from home far too long to raise Monte and keep him happy, as he thrives from being around his family.

We are determined to find him a beautiful new home of his own, as he deserves nothing less 💓
