My story

Hi! I'm Waffles! I'm an approximately 1 year old, male, Pit mix who weighs about 70 lbs. I was found at the Public Storage off HWY 205 on 08/03/2024 and never reclaimed. I don't need syrup to make me sweeter! I am a fun, and energetic guy who loves to play with people. I know a few basic commands but am excited to learn more. I enjoy to play with squeaky toys and know the basics of fetch. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters. I am heartworm positive but thankfully, Rockwall PAWS has partnered with RAC in order to treat heartworm positive dogs like me! If you have questions about heartworms or heartworm treatment, please feel free to ask RAC staff. Sweeten up your morning with some Waffles!

All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email info@RockwallAdoptions.com.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.

Dogs are tested for heartworms (if old enough), spayed/neutered, microchipped, given DHLP-P and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $125.

Cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given FVRCP-PN and rabies shots and given a dewormer for an adoption fee of $75.
