My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gracie - Plott Hound/GSD - Female - 1.5 Yrs - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Gracie: This gorgeous girl has a unique brindle coat with soft tan undertones and the best ears in the area! We think she's a Plott hound mix, with some shepherd mixed in = Ears! Gracie was rescued off the streets and has never met a stranger - despite her history, she is very friendly with all people she meets. As we She LOVES playing with other dogs, is very gentle playing with the little ones and backs off appropriately when her selected play partner does not want to play. She has not been exposed to cats in her foster home, so we don't know how she is around them.

Gracie is very smart and learns quickly, she is house and crate trained, walks pretty well on leash and rides fine in the car. She has shown no concern about thunderstorms or fireworks, and sleeps politely on her dog bed. She is an expert snuggler and would likely sleep in bed with her person, given the opportunity.

Gracie is looking for a home with or without kids, preferably with another dog for her to play with and someone who is home more often than not, as she is not a fan of being alone.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
