My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My adoption fee is $200 which covers my annual distemper booster, rabies, and being spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Hey I’m Chenoa! A pretty awesome name for a pretty awesome gal like me!

I’m very active, dog friendly, and I love kids even more! I love playing fetch, showing off my tricks, and running super-fast to show off my beautiful ears.

I’d prefer someone that has time to work with me as I do need some training because I do still have a lot of puppy energy in me. But I’m very smart, and eager to learn & will listen even better for treats!

I currently have 3 fur siblings, and they’re all different ages and I do just fine with them.

My foster Mom says I’m a very good girl in my kennel, but I do get anxious once I’m ready to go run my energy off.

I do like to dig so I’d need someone that pays close attention when I’m outside.

I prefer to eat my food alone in my cage as I don’t like sharing with my other fur siblings in the house, but we do share our tug toys, tennis balls, and water just fine. I’m just a hungry girl that likes to be left alone when I’m enjoying my meal!

I love my Kong Toys, and my Bones to keep me occupied if my Foster Mom must run errands without me!

Walks are a favorite of mine; I do need some more training on the leash as I do like to pull because I’m so excited to go explore!

Lastly, I’m potty trained so I wouldn’t make a mess in my new home!

I would love to find my forever home, and hopefully it’s with someone that will love me as much as I will love them!

More about this rescue

Arise Animal Rescue is a donation only, non-profit organization. We are a foster-based rescue which means all of the rescued animals are in homes with foster volunteers. Fosters ensure that the rescued animals are given a loving, temporary home. During this time, the fosters provide training skills, medical providence, and the necessary needs to recover from a life on the streets and the shelter. The rescue is given the chance to learn how to trust humans and to give/receive love.

Arise Animal Rescue goes to local high-kill shelters about twice a week to save dogs or cats on the euthanasia list. We ensure that these rescues are given age-appropriate vaccines, are spayed or neutered, microchipped (dogs only) and any other medical needs as necessary. The rescue has on average 50-80 animals at any given time in foster homes.

We take on many medical cases that require a lot of funds to pay for their medical needs and recovery. Some of our rescued animals have been shot, starved, parts of their bodies cut off, and/or beaten. As a rescue, we believe that every animal deserves a chance to fight for their life and we want to be able to give them the ability to do so.
For Arise Animal Rescue, it truly takes a village to help our rescued animals have a 2nd chance at a better and loving life.

Arise has weekly adoption events to help the rescued animals in foster homes have the chance to live a 2nd life with a new forever home.
