Meet Brio, a spirited and lively young cat with a zest for life! This playful and determined boy brings endless energy to every room he enters. While he’s social and enjoys making new friends, his curiosity keeps him moving—his short attention span means he’s always off to explore his next adventure.
Brio loves interactive toys, climbing, and chasing anything that moves. His clever personality shines through when he’s focused on figuring out a new toy or engaging in a game. After his playtime, Brio might come to check in with his people, sharing his affectionate side before dashing off again.
Brio is looking for an active and engaging home where he can thrive with plenty of play, love, and opportunities to explore. Think this dynamic little guy could be your perfect match? Visit www.hsnei.org/adoptablecats to fill out an adoption application today!

More about this shelter
The Humane Society of Northeast Iowa (HSNEI) is a 501(c)(3) humane society founded in 1995, in Decorah, Iowa, to help homeless companion animals in the five-county area of Northeast Iowa (Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek counties). Since our founding, we have offered numerous services including dog and cat rescue, fostering and adoption services, humane education, safety and family fun fairs, microchipping for pet identification, financial assistance in spaying/neutering and pet referral services.
Our rescue and adoption program provides temporary care at the Love & Friendship Adoption Center and in foster homes for unwanted and abandoned animals. We also provide a website to help in finding adoptive homes for these animals.
In 2013 the Spay/Neuter Assistance Program of Northeast Iowa (SNAP) joined HSNEI to become one organization working for animals in northeast Iowa.
HSNEI is a Best Friends Network Partner and a PetCo Foundation Partner.
