My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Seeking the One & Only (Home): Meet Rosa!
Rosa is a 1-year-old, 50lb Lab mix who is essentially a bundle of sunshine and tennis balls. She’s been in boarding since November 2024, and while she’s handled it like a champ, she is so ready for a real home.
The Best Parts of Rosa:
Tennis Ball Pro: She’s so entertained by toys that she actually plays catch with herself! 🎾
The "Helicopter" Tail: She can be a little timid at first, but once she’s in a park, that tail doesn't stop.
Eager Student: She’s incredibly food-motivated and already knows "Sit." She’s ready to learn everything you want to teach her.
Important Training & Home Needs:
Rosa is a "Work in Progress" with a heart of gold, but she needs a specific environment to be successful:
⚠️ No Other Pets Preferred: Rosa has significant food aggression toward other dogs. While she is playful and social on walks, she cannot share a home with other animals unless the owner is highly experienced in strict "separate room" feeding protocols and resource management. For her safety and others, she may be best as your only four-legged child.
🚫 Adult-Only Home: Rosa is a "bouncy" girl! She jumps when excited and can be "mouthy/nibbly." Because of this high energy, she should not be around small children.
🏡 Space to Burn Energy: She needs an active owner and a yard where she can run off that puppy zoomie energy.
Rosa is a diamond in the rough. She is sweet, smart, and loyal—she just needs a leader who understands her boundaries. If you’re looking for a solo companion to take on the world with, Rosa is waiting for you!
