My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marella
Domestic Shorthair, Born in August 2023, Brown Tabby, Spayed female

Greetings, human friends! My name is Marella, and I’m a stunning brown tabby with a heart full of love and a personality that’s as warm as my cozy fur. I was rescued through a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program, and now I'm on the hunt for my forever home where I can truly shine!

Picture this: a lap cat who will melt your heart with gentle purrs and soft headbutts. I adore cuddling and soaking up pets, but I also know when to give you a break—after all, even the sweetest tabby needs some me-time!

When I’m not snuggled up or basking in your affection, I’ve got a playful side that loves to come out and explore. I’m curious and enjoy discovering new toys and adventures. Though I’m calm and gentle, my playful streak is sure to bring a smile to your face!

I might prefer to be the only feline royalty in my new kingdom, as I’ve been a bit apprehensive around my fellow feline neighbors. But don’t let that deter you—I promise to shower you with all the attention and love you could ever need.

So, if you’re looking for a sweet, gentle companion who knows how to balance cuddles with playful antics, then I’m your gal! Let’s create a home full of love, laughter, and purrs. Come meet me and let’s make some magical memories together!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
